What we store

We store only what you give us: your email, optional display name, and your collection — used to sync your account across devices. If you use Senti without an account, your collection stays on your device only.

Location and region

Location, when you enable it, is used on-device to fetch local weather and suggestions, and is never stored or sold. To show stores for your region, your approximate country may be derived on-device from GPS or a one-time IP lookup; only the country code is used and it isn't stored on our servers.

Who processes your data

Your data is processed on our behalf by infrastructure providers — Supabase (accounts and data) and Resend (account emails) — and is never sold to anyone. We also collect anonymous usage statistics — like which store links are tapped or which searches come up empty — with no account identifier. We also record when the app is opened. To count how many devices open it on a given day, each install sends a short code built from a random value that never leaves your device combined with that day's date — it changes every day, so it cannot be tied to you or matched with any other day.

Your control

Fragrance suggestions sent from the app are anonymous by default. If you are signed in you can choose to attach your account, so we can tell you when the fragrance is added — that link is the only extra thing stored with the suggestion, and leaving the box unticked keeps it anonymous.
